Jim Derf

Hi, my name is Jim Derf and I have been a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene since 1985. Plymouth, Indiana is where I was born in 1942. In 1960, I attended Indiana State College in Terre Haute where I met Suzanne and we were married in 1964. We have two children; Mark and Kristy and five grandchildren.

In 1998, I retired after teaching 32 years of science in Junior High and Senior High.  Today, I am Senior Sunday School Teacher and a church board member.

Harold Wheeldon and I went to Israel in 2005.  In 2006, I went again with Dick Crane where we walked in the footsteps of Jesus.  On January 1966, I met Jesus and He changed my life dramatically.  Today, I shout His praises until I meet Him face to face.
