"Young at Heart" Senior Adults
The Young at Heart Ministry of the Hillsboro Nazarene Church announces these upcoming Saturday events. Unless otherwise noted, each event is scheduled from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (EDT), and reservations may be made by calling the church at (765) 798-2350 or the Young at Heart coordinator, (765)793-7285. Callers should provide a contact phone number. Activities are open to all older adults in Fountain and neighboring counties. NOTE: Participants should contact the Young at Heart coordinator (765-793-7285) the night before an event to make sure it was not cancelled due to weather.
March 4: “Young at Heart” older adult ministry will meet at the Attica Christian Church (411 E. Sycamore St.). March is Dolphin Awareness Month, and Purdue Extension of Fountain County explains how people can celebrate these aquatic mammals and raise awareness about their welfare. Following a sub sandwich lunch, participants play “Think Spring” Party Bingo. Cost: $3.00. Reservations are required by March 1, and may be made by contacting either the Hillsboro Nazarene Church, (765) 798-2350, or the program coordinator, (765) 793-7285.

April 15: Getting Ready for Spring: Terracotta Wind Chimes, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Kingman Public Library (123 West State Street).
Purdue Extension of Fountain County helps participants design and decorate this spring craft. Following lunch from The Kingman Oasis, participants play Party Bingo. Participants purchase their own meal. Cost for the other activities is $1.00. Reservations are required by April 10 and may be made by contacting either the Hillsboro Nazarene Church, (765)798-2350, or the program coordinator,

Note: The entire program will be held on the main floor of the library, which is accessible by a lift elevator on Second Street (the east side of
the building).
