I’m so humbled by the fact God has called me to be a pastor. I’m not worthy of this calling but I could not be happier with how God has decided to use me. Its truly awesome to be in the center of where God wants me.
I have been here at HNC since May 1999. Currently I am doing the youth ministry as well as administrative duties. The main thing is that God has called me to serve the people in our local church as well as our community.
I married the most beautiful woman in the world, Tracie, in April 2004. She truly is my gift from God, and I am so grateful she is my wife, ministry mate, as well as the mother of our two boys. My oldest son Gabriel came in 2007 and Gavin my youngest in 2009. I love my family and am so blessed by their love each and everyday.
I love how God always does what he says and is always fair. I love how God just wants us to allow him to use our lives each and every day. We need to realize God has put us where we are and all we need to do is allow him to have his way each day.
Two of my favorite scriptures.
1 John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 12The Message (MSG) Place Your Life Before God 12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
